I'm Jack and I'm a recovering alcoholic.
I FellOff TheWagon.
And decided to build a brand around it. Off The Wagon is an alcohol awareness clothing brand built to start the conversation and remove the stigma around alcoholism. Nothing big. Nothing crazy. Just real talk.
More Than A Brand.
Off The Wagon started as a result of my alcoholism, however after speaking to a few people I decided to build it into something more.
Off The Wagon is an apparel company designed to start the conversation and end the stigma around alcoholism. As of early 2026, over 600,000 people in England are estimated to be alcohol dependent with many more still suffering with some form of hidden addiction.
Through my own personal experience, I know that going through this journey there will always be setbacks. Hence the name, Off The Wagon. The name is a reminder that recovery isn’t a straight line and that it is okay to seek out help.
Our clothing is designed to get people to start asking questions. Start a conversation. Off The Wagon is pleased to donate 15% of profits to Alcohol Change UK in an effort to help those affected by alcohol, or those who know people who are secretly struggling.

My Story.
I started drinking when I was around 18. My mother passed away, and I felt like it was one of the only ways I could numb out the pain. It helped for a few years, however the drinking kept getting worse, and over time I built a tolerance for alcohol that I had to keep drinking more and more, making myself pass out.
My insomnia then made it a lot worse—I wasn’t just drinking to numb feelings anymore, I was drinking to get myself to sleep, which, as many of you may know, alcohol does not provide restful sleep at all. I think for me, it was just a way to shut down some of the pain.
Fast forward to 2022 is when I really took a major hit. I drunk drove in a car park and blacked out at the wheel—now I don’t condone what I did, nor will I make any excuse. By pure luck, I didn’t hurt anyone besides myself, and caused £17,500 worth of damages. I was given a two-year driving ban, 12 months probation, and 120 hours of unpaid work. I was also ordered to attend CGL (Care Grow Live) to help with my alcohol addiction. It wasn’t the best time in my life, however it did open my eyes to what alcohol can really do to you.
Moving onto more recent events, I am now in recovery.
It isn’t easy I’m not going to lie and say it’s been a straight line. There have been road bumps and hurdles that I’ve needed to overcome, but along with that, when you see some real progress, and you wake up not feeling like death or throwing up every morning, you see the small changes that made me feel like I could genuinely beat this.
I then started Off The Wagon—a clothing brand inspired to ask questions and hopefully give people more of a chance of getting help, even if it’s just talking. Awareness for me is the biggest step, as I always denied I had a problem until I couldn’t deny it anymore. There are so many resources out there for people to use, and not every resource is going to fit who you are or what you’re struggling with. My name is Jack, and I’m a recovering alcoholic. Welcome to Off The Wagon.
The Truth
I always denied
I had a problem,
until I couldn’t deny it.
